As we celebrate our 30th Anniversary of independence, on the 27th of October, 2009, we pause to appreciate the significance of this important milestone. Vincy Homecoming 2009 “Nostalgia” is a special way of commemorating this important achievement, by highlighting music and memories from the past and returning to everything that is truly ‘Vincy”. Nostalgia will feature artists, music and performances that have impacted Vincentian cultural history. There will also be brief speeches of historical importance.

Nostalgia will take place on Sunday 25th October, 2009 at Arnos Vale Sporting Complex. It will feature personalities and performances by Vincentians who reside in the Diaspora and at home. There will performances by bands that are no longer performing: Exodus, Touch and Climax featuring Winston Soso. Alston Becket Cyrus would perform some of his songs and there will be performances from Goa, Summers, Sheller and Sunblaze. Nostalgia will be a night to remember, an occasion to bring back the good memories of the past and a return to our land of the Blessed.
